Dear Friend:
It seems as if we all love a good quote, a line in a book, a particular way of thinking... don't we?
But you see, when we get down to the root of it, the problem with all that acquired wisdom is that, essentially... 'it's not our own!'
Of course, there's nothing wrong in that; the fact that we're 'borrowing' other people's wisdom.
Quite frankly, there's many who strut the planet, giving discourses and seminars, writing books and filling websites on what so and so said; on what the sages of the past had bequeathed.
And, they adopt that as their own personality, their own creed.
There's certainly some merit in it all. I'm not ridiculing it.
However, there's something greater than that; something so breathtaking, that, if allowed to come to fruition, it can set a person's life... ablaze!
What am I talking about?
I'm talking about Our Own Philosophy, yours and mine, something that's individual and unique to us only.
Naturally, thre'll be a lot of crossover from the wisdom of the universe, from the thinking of those present, and those who've left us.
Though, through it all, what should materialise -- by the sheer force and power of our own personality -- is our own 'human thinking and living print'.
Giving in to the Madness of Others
It's easy to fall prey to the madness of others.
It's even easier now the Internet's allowed us to become privy to the histrionics of the insane and depraved, twenty four hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year!
It's certainly prime time looting for the quacks, charlatans and frauds out there.
But there again, it's all a matter of CHOICE. A choice in who we let in to our heads, our minds, our living rooms... and who we don't.
And, it can be very troubling when we stand there, on the edge, not deciding one way or the other. Do we go the route of the mad, or do we steer clear and become the curious investigator of our own life?
Truth is, both you and I, and everyone on the planet was born...GREAT!
But, it's just that through life's journey we've all but given our power and authenticity away to anyone who said they wanted it!
They looted and raided us in the broad daylight of our lives. And, we willingly, let them!
Now's the RIGHT TIME to reclaim that power and for each one of us to stand tall and be who we really are. It's time to stop living the life of someone else and become the person who we know exists inside of us.
Those are some of my beliefs, my philosophies, my thinkings.
You may absolutely, 100%, undeniably,
catergorically... disagree!
And do you know what?
I'm okay with that. I'm okay with the fact that you disagree with it.
Can you see where I'm coming from?
Can you see the platform of authenticity we all stand from?
Can you grasp that your life, my life, everyone's life... is what we choose and want to make it to be?
Whether it's family and employment life; business life; finincial life, health life... whatever...
Whatever we choose, we can get.
I hope you get a feel for what I'm about and why I believe that the harmony of the collective mind all marching in a similar direction, can surmount any challenge and any difficulty.
